Ms. Murdock - Classroom Spotlight

Big celebrations were needed as our K-people embarked on their 100th day of Kindergarten! It’s a big deal, and a great milestone in the kinder-world. As we reach the 100th day, it allows us to reflect on our success throughout the year so far.

Socially, we are learning to work and play cooperatively by sharing and accepting each other’s differences. Academically, we are going above and beyond. Our little K-People are using their letters and sounds to read and write. Also, we are diving into addition and subtraction! These are only a few of the major successes we have had this year, but as you can tell the 100th day had to be a big celebration for the hard work each K-Person has put in.

The day began as 48 kindergarteners and 3 teachers walked the halls of German Valley as their 100-year-old self. It may have taken us all a little longer than usual to walk the halls, but we got there eventually. It was an exciting day of celebration that was crucial moving forward to even greater achievements.
