Mrs. Meyer's Bio

I am looking forward to this brand new school year at Forreston Grade School. As your child's 2nd grade teacher, I cannot wait for all the exciting things to come this year! I grew up and graduated from Forreston, so I am familiar with the community and I love teaching at my alma mater. I attended Trinity International University and graduated with my Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education back in 2014. Being a teacher has always been a dream of mine as I have a passion for children and education. When I am not teaching, I am usually spending quality time with my wonderful family. My husband, Brady and I have two children, a son named Bryten and a daughter named Joella. I live with my family in Forreston, IL and enjoy spending time taking walks together, playing at the park, or eating ice cream! I personally enjoy reading, playing piano, singing, and supporting the Forreston Cardinals!
