Mrs. Kaney is in her third year of teaching and loving it! Mrs. Kaney teaches Reading and Language Arts for the third grade class. Mrs. Kaney has been with the district for 3 years, and she is a Forreston alumni (graduating in 2002). She is excited to be working for her alma mater and couldn't think of a better school district to be working for.

She lives with her husband in Shannon, and this past summer they celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary. They have a beautiful daughter that fills their hearts with so much joy. In her spare time, Mrs. Kaney enjoys painting in her studio in her home and sitting with a hot cup of tea with a good book.

Mrs. Kaney has a passion for children and sharing joy with them through the journey of learning. Mrs. Kaney knows this year is going to be a year filled with so much joy!
