Senior Spotlight - Makayla Cole
1. What are your plans after high school?
I plan to attend Illinois State University to major in music therapy.
2. What was the biggest change for you between your freshman and senior year?
My biggest change has been my motivation for school. I understand now that it’s important to get work done on time and to show up to class. I’ve also opened up more to most people and now tend to get along with everybody.
3. What person do you look up to the most and why?
I look up to just about all of my family members. They have all been through so much and have only become stronger because of it. This inspires and motivates me to always do my best and always push through.
4. What will you miss most about Forreston High School?
I will definitely miss seeing my friends every day and attending the school events. I will mainly miss the feeling of the family environment and all of the high school memories we’ve created.
5. What advice would you give incoming freshmen?
Don’t take these moments you’re living right now for granted because you will miss it sooner than you know. Also, don’t lose your motivation because the work you put in will affect you in the future.
