Senior Spotlight - Dixie Johnson
1. What activities/athletics were you involved with at FHS?
I was a part of Volleyball, National Honor Society, Advanced Art and Spanish Club.
2. What was the biggest change for you between your freshman and senior year?
The biggest change for me was becoming more social and being more involved.
3. What advice would you give an incoming freshman?
Put school first and care about your grades; get involved in activities even if it’s not sports, and make memories.
4. What do you look forward to the most during your senior year?
I look forward to graduation.
5. What are your plans after high school?
I’m planning to attend the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign to earn a bachelor’s degree.
6. What is your favorite memory at FHS?
All the memories with the volleyball team are my favorite. One specific memory was when we went to a tournament in Joliet and went to Six Flags.
7. Who do you admire the most and why?
I admire my parents the most because they’ve molded me into the young adult I am today. Without them, I wouldn’t have half my intelligence, compassion, or humor.
