Senior Spotlight - Zoriah Jenkins
What do you look forward to the most during your senior year?
I look forward to graduating at the end of my senior year.
What activities/athletics were you involved with at FHS?
I participated in cheer all throughout high school as well as softball my freshman and sophomore year, choir my senior year, and Spanish club my junior and senior year. I also was put in advanced art and National Honor Society.
What are your Post-Forreston plans?
I plan to go to a 4-year university to pursue surgery with a bachelor's degree in biology and a minor in chemistry.
Who do you admire the most and why?
I would say my mom has always been my biggest inspiration. She always pushes me to keep going. She was especially there to help me through junior year when I was at my absolute lowest. I can always count on her to show up and support me. She works her hardest for her family and I look up to that.
What is your favorite memory at FHS?
My favorite memory from high school was getting to leave, to be honest.
What advice would you give an incoming freshman?
The best advice I would give is to care about your grades and put school first. Get involved in activities and make as many memories as you can. Also, mind your business. Trust me, you'll make it through high school way easier that way. Just be nice. It really isn't that hard. Don't waste your time ruining someone else's day. Focus and care about yourself. You are way more important. Make the right decisions and do things responsibly.
