Forreston High School Spanish Club hosted a car wash on August 2nd. They serviced about 15 cars and made $345 towards the scholarship fund to offset the cost for students to travel to Costa Rica in July of 2026.

A Reminder that Open House/Unpack the Backpack Nights Scheduled for August 12th and 13th!
Forreston Jr/Sr High School will be hosting an Open House on Tuesday, August 12th from 5:30pm-6:30pm for ALL Students 6th through 12th Grade. Please come out and get your schedule, unpack your backpacks into your lockers and meet your teachers for the 2025-2026 school year. Students will also be given their chromebooks and chargers at this time. At the conclusion of the night Mr. Heinz will be hosting our traditional 6th Grade Orientation at 6:30pm in the FJSHS Cafeteria for all 6th Grade Students and their Parents. Please plan to come out and help your child get all ready for a great school year!

All Kindergarten Students and Parents are invited to come and unpack their backpacks at GVGS on Wednesday, August 13th from 4:30-5:30pm. Registration for the 29th Annual Vedra Scramble for Education is now open. We are pleased to continue to offer online registration and payments. This year's Vedra Scramble will be held on Saturday, September 20th at Prairie View Golf Club in Byron, with registration beginning at 9:00 a.m. and a shotgun start at 10:00 a.m.
