FVV Students to Participate in the Grand Detour Art Festival on September 10th
Launch the media gallery 1 playerFifty of our Junior High and High School art students will be participating this year in the Grand Detour Art Festival. This is an annual event open to the public at the John Deere Historic Site grounds in Grand Detour, IL. This year the event will take place on Sunday, September 10th from 9am - 4pm with the student award presentation at 1pm.
This event will display our Forreston art student’s work as well as art and craft vendors, food vendors and musicians. Admission is just a few dollars per person and children 11 and younger are free. Admission also includes admittance to the John Deere Historic Site exhibits and blacksmith demonstrations throughout the day.
