GVGS had a great time with our German Valley Fire Department today! Thank you to all of our local firefighters for always keeping us safe!








On Tuesday night, the Forreston Volleyball Team worked together with Pearl City to raise funds for two Pearl City alumni battling cancer. Great job ladies!

The German Valley Fire Department came to German Valley Grade School today to talk about fire safety. Students loved getting to listen to the firefighters and see the firetrucks.




Pumpkins! Art club this week painted pumpkins for the upcoming holiday.
Next meeting is October 20th in the Art Room from 2:50-3:40 for Junior high School and High school students. Anyone is welcomed.

October is bullying prevention month. High School computers students created anti-cyber bullying posters that will be hung in the hallways for this month.

Congratulations to Kaden Brown who shot a 75 today at sectionals to advance to the State Finals this weekend!

This week the 7th grade math students worked on scale drawing a box side. They have been working on scale factors and calculating new side length as well as areas.

Third graders are working hard at figuring out V/CV and VC/V syllable pattern sounds!




This week first grade is working on initial consonant blends for their spelling pattern. The students practiced this in their reading books.




The kindergarteners love making all kinds of creations during morning bin time! They also enjoy letter and sound matching during center, WIN time.








The Newest Cardinals in the Nest enjoyed riding in the Homecoming Parade last week! Class of 2038, here they come!

Fifth graders had fun in science labs exploring the physical property of solubility. They tested six substances to determine whether or not they are soluble in water.
