Some schedule UPDATES:

The varsity girls basketball game vs. Lena on Friday, January 23rd is CANCELLED due to weather conditions. The reschedule date has been set for Saturday, February 7th at 1 pm at Forreston High School.

The Orion Wrestling Tournament scheduled for the weekend has been canceled.

The JH Spelling Bee has been rescheduled to January 30th, 8am.

Senior Spotlight - Kaylynn Schiesher

1. What do you look forward to the most during your senior year?
I'm looking forward to having a fun last year of high school with FNL, homecoming, and prom.
I’m also looking forward to preparing for my future throughout the next few months.

2. What activities/athletics are you involved with at FHS?
I am on the dance team, and I am one of the choreographers for our musicals.

3. What are your post-Forreston plans?
I plan to major in Special Education at the elementary level.

4. What advice would you give an incoming freshman?
Don't be afraid to get involved with teams and things going on at school. Just have fun because it goes by fast!

Fifth grader Kiylee Liphart was the closest student in an attempt to predict Sunday's Bears vs. Rams game score. The final score was 20-17 Rams, and Kiylee predicted 23-13, just one point off from the final point total.

6th grade did an amazing job creating their "Biome in a Box". The students were able to pick a biome and use what they learned in class to recreate the biome into a shoebox.

Fourth grader Greysen Greenwald was the closest student in an attempt to predict last Saturday's Bears vs. Packers game score. The final score was Bears 31 - Packers 27, and Greysen predicted 30 - 28, matching the final point total.

FGS 4th and 5th graders are in the process of predicting scores for this weekend's playoff game between the Bears vs. LA Rams. Good luck students & CONGRATULATIONS to Greysen!
