Sixth grade ELA students did a superb job creating their SSR projects for quarter one and then presenting them in class. Great way to end first quarter!

Mrs. Schmidt's 5th graders always enjoy having their high school Education Pathway student in the classroom! She does a great job helping with science and writing.

Homecoming week made an opportunity for some students to take field trips. The aerospace engineering class went to Albertus Airport (Freeport) to look at airplanes on Sept 29. The class of 8 students could apply what they learned about aircraft controls in real life. They also learned about career opportunities in aviation and aircraft maintenance. The class had the chance to see several planes including a T28 Trojan.  I will share about another field trip other engineering students took last Friday in tomorrow's post.

📢 We’re hiring!

Miss Dublo’s Reading Win class has been busy with our Fish in a Tree book clubs! Students have been doing an awesome job analyzing the story, discussing each chapter, sharing their thinking, and asking one another deep-thinking questions during their book club meetings. I love seeing them take ownership of their conversations and learn from one another! 📖💭 And, of course, we couldn’t let Spirit Week go by without showing off our Cardinal pride! ❤️🖤 Go Cardinals!

After working hard to learn our letters, Kindergarten put on an ABC fashion show! Each student decorated a vest with words that start with their specific letter. Great work Kindergarten!

The rain didn't stop the fun! Pep rally was rocking & GO BIRDS!

The parade might be canceled but the good food is not!

Spanish 2 got a little "dramatic" today! We're bringing our class novel to life, literally! Students acted out scenes with puppets using Spanish to tell the story. Today's scene included a little puppet dancing.

It may have been a rainy day, but Mrs. Genandt's 4th grade class was all sunshine in their yellow for class color day!
