Our senior shop class has been hard at work on multiple different projects this semester! You can purchase some of their flower boxes at our greenhouse sale!



On Thursday morning, the Civil Engineering & Architecture class took a field trip to the Fehr Graham offices in Rockford. The students got a tour of the building with a neat view of the Rock River and several projects that Fehr Graham completed for the city. Students then watched a presentation given by staff highlighting the services and technology the company provides.

1. What do you look forward to the most during your senior year?
I am looking forward to graduation.
2. What activities/athletics are you involved with at FHS?
I am involved in football and track and field.
3. What are your post-Forreston plans?
I am planning on 2 years at Highland and 2 years at Platteville.
4. What advice would you give an incoming freshman?
They need to keep up their grades…even freshman year.

Before spring break, our kindergarten friends received Easter peeps, and they enjoyed the Donuts with Grown-ups party! We hope that everyone had a wonderful spring break and Easter holiday!

I look forward to going to sporting events and being able to leave IH early.

I play football, basketball, and baseball.

I plan to go to a junior college to play baseball and then go somewhere else to get my bachelor’s degree.

I've been involved in volleyball, band, National Honor Society, and Spanish Club.

I plan to go to a 4-year university and major in interior design.

Failure is a part of learning, not a reflection of your worth.

Fifth graders put their engineering skills to work this week. We made spinning tops and collected data about how long we could make them spin. Then we graphed the data. Next, we embraced March Madness by creating a catapult to launch a ping pong ball through the hoops we made.










With Real Feel temperature staying in the mid-30's today, we are going to CANCEL today's Softball game at Stockton & Baseball games vs. Warren/Stockton. Currently, there is no make-up date scheduled but we are working on it.
LCP and ELA preschool classes had a blast on their field trip to J&J today!
