Our 5th graders had a blast learning all about agriculture in the classroom! 🌽🚜🐷 Students explored animals, tractors, the corn supply chain, parts of a corn stalk, pig tagging, and even careers in agriculture. Such a fun hands-on learning experience! 🌾✨

What an amazing day to be a cardinal! The high school students did a great job at Elementary AG Day today! Students learned hands-on lessons, learned about animals, and tractors all taught by high school students!

The eighth graders have been working hard on practicing and improving their public speaking techniques. We had some excellent assistants and learned a ton of new skills!

Reading with a partner is always a good idea! We have also loved reading with our high school TAP student Miss Jenna!

On May 7th, Senior Engineering students gave their final presentations for the Engineering Development and Design course. Six students formed two teams and develop projects over the school year. Professional engineers and parents came to hear their progress. Projects were an improved snow shovel and a paint water cleaning process. Everyone in the audience was impressed by their work.

Yesterday was our Annual Forreston Art Show at the Junior High and High School Level.

Mother's Day sale all week this week at the FFA greenhouse!

Students in the "Introduction to Engineering Design" and "Principles of Engineering" classes took a field trip to NIU today. The Senior Engineering Expo displayed over 50 design projects by university students. Our students had the opportunity to ask designers about their design process and what it is like to be an engineer.
